Feeding Futures Hot Lunch program will continue with the next session beginning the week of January 13th. More details on the next session are still to come. Families are encouraged to offer any feedback with the provided link, in the read more section.

Thank you to everyone that came out to our Holiday Social on Tuesday evening. It was lovely time and we enjoyed seeing everyone create beautiful swags.

We will be having 3 Spirit Days next week at Mamquam. Students are invited to dress up on the following days and themes:
Monday December 16th - Red and Green Day
Wednesday December 18th - Winter/Holiday Sweater
Friday December 20th - Pajama Day

The next PAC Hot Lunch is on December 20th and is Subway. Ordering is open until December 15th at midnight.

We have the kids gift shop Friday, December 13th and the items have been collecting but we still need more stuff. Please keep the donations coming!

To make this day happen, we need Helpers.
We need help on Thursday December 12th starting at 3:15 after school to bring up tables and all the donations to display on the tables. We could use anybody who can help out and the more people the faster we will be.

Friday December 13th, we start at 8:30am, just as the kids start school and so far, we only have a handful of helpers. Any time that you can help between 8:30-3:30pm is greatly appreciated.

The wrapping presents can take time and with a class all at once with 20 kids or so we could use more help Friday to wrap presents or help kids look for items.

All families are invited to join us for a Holiday Social where families can bring in supplies to create a festive SWAG (holiday greenery) to take home to decorate their house. When selecting materials, please consider bringing decorations that you would like to upcycle or natural elements to decorate with. We will be having hot chocolate and snacks available in the gym as well.

Join us on December 10th from 6:00-7:00 pm where we will host families for holiday swag making, hot chocolate, snacks, and a school wide sing-a-long in the gym. We encourage families and siblings to join us in celebrating the upcoming winter holiday season. Feel free to bring pieces from nature, bows, ribbons, and anything else you'd like to contribute to your holiday swag!

Did you know we can turn Independent Grocer receipts into gift cards for the school to use to fill our student grab and go fridge with lunch and snack items? Keep your receipts and hand them into the office. One of our lovely parent volunteers add them all up!

The whole school really enjoyed listening to Kung Jaadee, a professional Indigenous storyteller on Wednesday November 27th. Kung Jaadee is a published author who has been sharing stories for 30-plus years across Canada. She belongs to the X̱aayda (Haida), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Tlingit, Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and is also part Hawaiian. She was born and raised on Haida Gwaii and is from the Yaguu’laanaas Raven Clan.
