New Mural
We had artist Natasha Louise in this week to paint a new mural in our staff room. This mural will be the new home to our “data dashboard”. This is a place staff can continue to look and examine how our school is doing in relation to academic progress, social/emotional wellbeing and examples of progress in career and life development. In this way, the triangle represents our need to “triangulate” that information and ensure that one element of progress is not more important that the other. All three areas lead to student success, and all need to be embedded in place. The mural represents our place under the chief and at the foothills of the Mamquam river.
Our team at Mamquam is working hard to make our school learning plan more visible to staff and to families. We are committed to making our school the best it can possibly be.
