Terry Fox Run and Kilometer Club

Our Annual Terry Fox Run is taking place Friday, September 20 at 9:00 am in our Mamquam School Community.

Kilometer Club
On Monday morning, we are kicking off our Kilometer Club as a lead up to the Terry Fox Run. Monday to Thursday next week students are welcome to participate in the Kilometer Club at recess and lunch. Students will run around the school field. For every two laps of Mamquam field, students will receive a popsicle stick for 1 kilometer run. Students are encouraged to collect pledges and set a goal for themselves. Our school goal is to collect $1000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

Terry Fox Run
On Friday morning at 9 am, we will be running through our local neighbourhood participating in a 2 kilometer loop for the Terry Fox Run. We need parent volunteers to stand on course for safety for our grade 1-6 students. Our kindergarten students will stay on site and participate on the school field.
