Mamquam Cross Country Running Team

We have our fourth and final Cross Country race of the season at Squamish Elementary School on Wednesday. Twenty-seven grade 3 to 6 students raced the 1.7km to 2.7 km loop around the surrounding area of SQE. The race was very well organized by the coaches at Squamish Elementary as well as the HSSS Leadership students, we saw many Mamquam alumni supporting the race. It was great to race at home and have so many parents, grandparents and neighbours cheering on our runners. We had many top ten finishes in all grades. We are so proud of the growth in mindset, fitness and community that the Cross Country team has shown throughout the past 6 weeks. Way to go Mamquam!
